Featured Digital Scrapbooking Freebies Designer :: Viviane’s Freebies

It never ceases to amaze me that the craft of digital scrapbooking is something that can be shared by people all over the world. This weekend I discovered a German digital scrapbooking freebie designer — Viviane.

If you like distressed papers, then chances are you will love Viviane’s “Schmutzig” kit of digital scrapbooking papers. Schmutzig is German for dirty, but this kit is so much more. The papers are toned down and grunged up pastels, with random polka dot, stripes and flower prints, and innovative solids. The kit comes with a matching alpha in the flower pattern.

Featured Digital Scrapbooking Designer :: Designs by Krista

I have been a huge fan of Designs by Krista ever since I discovered her “Tattered” digital scrapbooking kit a few months ago. I was really drawn in by the colors, the beautiful patterns, and the curled edges.

The flowers and vintage picture frame were exquisite. There was so many amazing goodies, that I was able to create an 8 page layout about my daughters.

Ever since, I have been stalking her blog, anxiously waiting for the next beautiful kit to arrive.

This week, Krista has unveiled her newest digital scrapbooking kit — “Sundance” — and she is offering it for free on her blog. This is a beautiful kit, although in my mind, a bit of a departure from her usual style in that the colors are much more earthy and muted. I have some layouts to finish from the fall, and I think this kit will fit the bill perfectly!

Krista’s papers are always outstanding, and this kit is no exception. The papers have earthy colors, soft textures, and you will find lots of papers with realistic paper curls to jazz up your layouts.

Krista has just added these bracket quick pages made with the Sundance scrapbooking kit. They were made for her by Belanna.

Krista also has her free “Bunny Trail” scrapbooking kit still available on the blog.

This kit is just adorable, and with its bright color combination, classic “Krista”. It comes complete with the digital papers, a bunny, grass, flowers, easter eggs and a basket! (Tip: try hiding the eggs in the grass on your layouts!)

The bright, cheerful colors and patterns will work equally well on spring and summer layouts.
