Are you new to digital scrapbooking? If so, you may be hesitant to spend money on digital scrapbooking supplies. Have no fear! Many designers offer digital scrapbooking freebies on their blogs or online stores. You can find everything from templates, alphas, papers, elements and even entire kits! Many freebies have coordinating kits for sale, so if you like a designer’s style you can expand your digital scrapbooking supplies collection.

How to get your digital scrapbooking freebies from Blogs
- Most of the links here are for blogs
- Head on to the blog. If you see a freebie you like, just follow the download link.
- If you really like the designer’s work, see if you can subscribe to their RSS feed. This feature will notify you by email when a new post is added to the blog.
- You can check and see if older freebies are available by checking “previous posts”. Sometimes the designers tag their digital scrapbooking freebies — if so, you will see a link to a category like “freebies” at the end of their post. You can click on that link, which will only show you links that are related to digital scrapbooking freebies, and make your hunt a little easier.
- Error Codes: If you get an error code like “Server downloading session limit is reached. Please try again in a few minutes”, please do just that — it means that this is a popular download, and the bandwidth (space) allocated to it is currently all in use. If your message reads “You are already downloading a file from IP-address…”, you will need to wait until other files (usually from the same designer) are finished downloading before you can proceed. On the other hand, an error code like “The file link that you requested is not valid…”, it means that the freebie is no longer available.
